CAECT 2018 Was Cancelled!
Welcome to the International Conference of Aerospace Engineering & Control Technologies, CAECT 2018, that is being held in Athens, Greece during April 13-15, 2018. We will be in the centre where the classic scholars started their journey and laid the foundations for the seven classic subject. What better place to hold a scientific conference of international researchers, scientists, engineers, students and practitioners.
If you just want to attend and listen that is supported and at a reduced fee. Your inputs in sessions and asking questions will be encouraged. A full paper submission is encouraged; they are double blind reviewed to ensure quality and consistency is maintained. All the registered and presented papers will be published in the volume of IOP Conference Series: Materials Science and Engineering (ISSN: 1757-899X) Ei Compendex, SCOPUS, Inspec index that, all registered and presented papers will be by online publishing.
The papers accepted will be presented and time allowed for any questions to highlight the importance of the research and its wider use. Sessions are chaired by experienced professors to ensure each presenter is supported fully both academically and practically.
The submission dates and acceptances are efficient and feedback if changes are needed will be directed and specific. All accepted papers are encouraged to be revised for journal submission and this support we will gladly help and encourage. If you have any questions please ask as we are here to help.
I personally look forward to meeting you in person in Athens, the centre of democracy and start of classics. Athens is a great city with many historic attractions and sites. Why not add a couple of days and enjoy the culture.

This guideline has been drafted for several reasons and based on typical errors researchers make when drafting conference papers. First, unless told how do you know the standard and style expected, not just layout and spacing’s of the paper. Secondly, why put effort into doing something if it will need changing and finally it will help you with all other papers you write. Finally, reviewers keep seeing the same errors and may reject an otherwise suitable paper.
Let us start by considering the references. Your research is leading edge, first to review, experiment or calculate at this level or type of problem. Leading edge work needs current references. As a rule of thumb half your reference should be no older than 4 years. Indeed, most less than 2 years on an ideal and thorough paper. Old ones, if seminal, can be used. For example, if the subject is Quality then any of the classic Guru’s works from the 1950s are acceptable. The split of references should be from conferences and journals, about 50%, books and internet the rest. Technical papers and Government papers, i.e., Federal Aviation Authority (FAA) crash reports are acceptable. Imagine, if most are 2012 or older, and many others just internet based what does that say about the quality of the literature review.
